In order to accomplish its purpose, First Baptist Church has several ministries that are an integral part of the whole of the ministry. The ministries include: AWANA
We use the AWANA Clubs International's program as in intricate part of our ministry to children. The clubs meet most Wednesday Evenings in the months of September through April. The children learn memory verses, complete arts and crafts, learn about the Bible and compete in various games throughout the evening.
Missions
World-wide missions is the heart-beat of our church. We have been called to evangelize the lost in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the Earth. We have two missionaries that are sent out of our church and we financially and prayerfully support several others.
Sunday School
Every Sunday Morning from 9:45 - 10:45, the church provides teaching in God's Word for all ages. Nursery is provided. Children have their own classes and the adults have two classes: Pastor's Basic Bible Beliefs and the Adult Sunday School Class.
D.V.B.S.
Each summer, the church runs a Daily Vacation Bible School. Food, fun, instruction and arts and crafts are provided for those four years old through sixth grade. The Teens have their own times as well.
